About Us Christian Services Counseling was September 1978 as a non-profit organization to provide help to troubled youth and families in Cumberland County. From 1979-1982 we offered a federally funded treatment program for juvenile offenders known a "The Barn." This program included a Bible Club and youth ministry.   Shortly after the close of that program early in 1983, Christian Services developed a counseling service to these youths and families that was funded through community support and client fees.   Since then we have expanded to offer Christ-centered counseling, groups, and casework services to all age groups throughout the region.
